Travel Sketchbook
"Sketching is not about doing "good"
drawings or paintings. It is about being in the moment, about putting
aside expectations and judgment and letting the hand record what the
eyes see..." Travelling is inspiring, enriching and I love to
experience and capture my favourite moments and places in my little
sketchbook whenever possilbe. Here's sharing with you some of them.
The Mirador San Nicolas - with a great view to the Alhambra and the sunset in Granada.
Rooftops
of the Spanish town of Ronda in Andalucia. Sketched while taking a
break by the roadside and soaking up the afternoon sun.
A small structure right outside the main palace of Alhambra - another specimen of Moorish architecture in Spain.

The
Alhambra in Granada, on a sunny winter afternoon, as seen from one of
the rooftops of El Albayzín. Loved the snow capped peaks of the Sierra
Nevada mountains in the background.
