Pyramid fountains, Louvre
After spending hours walking in the Louvre, getting lost despite the maps, wandering into hallways and taking wrong exits while trying to absorb the magnanimity and grandeur of the place, it is a relief to step out - in the sprawling courtyard, and put your feet up by the Pyramid fountains which look like glistening sheets of water.

Morning Rush
Morning traffic: Buses packed and overflowing. Cars, like slow moving beads on parallel strings. Lights changing colors in a slumber, oblivious to the hurried, impatient glances towards them. And amidst all of this, sitting in the passenger seat of a taxi, I think if I would've rather walked, free from the confines of an automobile that can barely move and allows a dissatisfying view of the city- framed boringly by its windows.
